The Subsidiary

CANADIAN DEFENCE TECHNOLOGY AT THE FRONTIER

Talos Advanced Systems is the defence technology subsidiary of Talos Ventures. It develops and manufactures next-generation personal protective equipment and concealment systems for allied military and law enforcement forces worldwide.

Every system is designed and manufactured in Canada — providing NATO allies and Five Eyes partners with a sovereign supply chain that does not depend on foreign manufacturing or export control timelines.

The company operates across five product lines, each solving a distinct gap in existing procurement: thermal concealment, flexible ballistic protection, hard armor, load carriage, and cold weather systems.

Why It Matters

SOVEREIGN SUPPLY FOR CRITICAL SYSTEMS

The global defence procurement landscape is increasingly constrained by supply chain fragility, export controls, and foreign dependency. Talos Advanced Systems was built to solve this problem for Canada and its allies.

With production capacity of 3,000 ballistic plates per month — scalable to 10,000 within eight months — the company can respond to surge procurement requirements that foreign suppliers cannot match at speed.

For investors, TAS represents a rare combination: proven technology, active production, a clear path to military procurement contracts, and the strategic tailwinds of increased NATO defence spending.

Investment Case

WHY TALOS ADVANCED SYSTEMS

NATO members have committed to increasing defence spending to 2% of GDP — a structural tailwind that is driving procurement budgets across allied nations. Canada is actively seeking to rebuild domestic defence industrial capacity after decades of reliance on foreign suppliers.

Talos Advanced Systems is positioned at the intersection of these two trends: a Canadian manufacturer with proven technology, active production, and a product portfolio that addresses real gaps in current allied procurement.

The company is pre-revenue from major contracts but has completed field trials, established production capacity, and is actively engaged with procurement offices. This represents a classic early-stage defence opportunity with asymmetric upside.
